HMRC rules broadly state that residential property can only be held within a SIPP as long as the property is held within a *genuine diverse commercial vehicle*, and it has not been acquired for the purpose of allowing the investor to occupy the property. Due to each investment being on an individual property basis, and not through a diverse investment vehicle, it is currently not possible to invest on Crowdlords through a pension. We are considering solutions to offer this kind of investment and hope to do so in due course.
